Our service area is Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford, Virginia for landscaping, lawn care, and contracting; and northern Virginia for contracting services only.
What Does Our Lawn Mowing Service Include?
Lawn mowing service includes mowing, line trimming (weed-eating), edging, and blowing. Please make sure to pick up any foreign objects from the lawn prior to service.
When is the grass cutting season?
The season starts the last week of March or the first week of April; and ends in the second week of November.
When should customers stop watering their lawns?
They should stop watering the first to the second week of November.
What is our lawn mowing schedule?
Lawn care is done weekly or bi-weekly. If it rained today, yesterday, or the day before, it’s possible we could still be playing catch-up. We’ll get to your lawn as soon as possible. If we don’t show up right on time, please remember that if there was rain recently, that’s probably the reason for the delay.
What does our fertilization and weed control service include?
Fertilization and Weed Control services include a comprehensive slow-release fertilization application, with pre- and post-emergent weed control, over 7 total treatments from March through December: 7 fertilizations and weed control applications, with aeration and overseeding at round 5 with starter fertilizing in the fall. Lime and grub applications can be added for an additional charge. Throughout the season service will be done every 5-6 weeks for the best results.
What does our seasonal cleanup service include?
Seasonal Cleanup service includes picking up and removing all leaves in the yard and flower beds in the fall; and mulching, cleanup, trimming, and other preparation in the spring. Leaf removal service can be ordered separately if needed.
What does the shrub trimming service include?
Shrub Trimming service includes the clipping of shrubs and hedges, perennials, decorative grass, and ornamental trees to form the desired shape.
What does our pest control service include?
Pest Control service includes outdoor pesticide treatments for mosquitos, ticks, and fleas; covering the spring to fall months, with one treatment every 21 days over 8 total treatments.
What does our mulching service include?
Mulching service includes the installation, removal, cleanup, weeding, and edging of the existing and/or new mulch at a 2-inch depth.
What does our irrigation installation service include?
Irrigation Installation service includes the creation of irrigation zones to service the property; and the plumbing, backflow, and installation of the required components of the zones to water the required area. Please mark the property, utility, and other important lines (such as drainage or dog fence) for us prior to service.
What does the tree service include?
Tree Removal service includes the removal and cleanup of unwanted or dangerous trees, or grinding of stumps, from the property.
What does our French drain service include?
French drain installation services include the piping, labor, gravel, and trench digging necessary to maintain proper drainage at a location.
What does aeration service include?
Aeration service can be done with or without the fertilization and weed control lawn treatment service, and may include overseeding; in the spring and/or fall.
What types of landscaping services can you do?
Our miscellaneous landscaping jobs can include installation of river rocks or fabric, or other work you specify to meet your needs. We also specialize in paver patio, garden retaining wall, and fire pit and concrete slab installation.
What types of contracting do you do?
We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and can renovate, replace, or create any job you need to your specification; such as decks, paver patios, retaining walls, and home or business remodeling and construction.
