Open Position:

Landscape Estimator

As our Landscape Estimator, you'll be the crucial link between our clients' dreams and our team's execution. 

Job Responsibilities

  • On-Site Assessments & Estimates: Conduct thorough site analyses to determine client needs and project scope for a wide range of services, including landscaping, lawn care, hardscaping, and contracting.
  • Accurate Costing & Proposals: Develop detailed and accurate estimates, including material costs, labor hours, and equipment needs, using industry-standard software and your expert knowledge.
  • Client Consultation & Relationship Building: Meet with clients to understand their vision, provide expert recommendations, and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Present estimates to clients, address questions, and effectively negotiate project details to secure contracts.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site visits, estimates, and project details in our landscaping business software.
  • Process Improvement: contribute to refining and improving our estimating process to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, materials, and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in landscape estimating or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscaping, lawn care, hardscaping, and contracting practices.
  • Estimation Skills: Proven ability to accurately estimate project costs and develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using estimating software, CRM systems, and other relevant technology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to clients.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.2
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professionalism: Honest, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Bilingual Skills: Spanish fluency is a significant plus.

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Landscape Laborer to join our team! As a valued member of a skilled crew, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional landscaping services to our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Operating landscaping equipment like line trimmers, edgers, and blowers, maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The position will begin with line trimming, edging, and blowing only; with the option to progress to mowing if your skills are a fit.
  • Line trimming, edging, and blowing lawns efficiently, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our clients' expectations.
  • Collaborating effectively with the crew lead and other crew members to achieve daily goals on time and within budget.
  • Contributing to a positive and safety-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in professional lawn care, with proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping equipment (mowers, line trimmers, edgers, and blowers).
  • Ability to mow, line trim, edge, and blow lawns efficiently and professionally, maintaining a high-quality appearance (15+ sites per day).
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more to move equipment and supplies.
  • Valid driver's license.  Pass cursory background check.
  • Bilingualism (Spanish/English) is a plus!

  • Operating landscaping equipment like box trucks, trimmers, chainsaws, and edgers.
  • Performing a variety of landscaping tasks such as mulching, planting, trimming, and cleanup, ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Working collaboratively with the team lead and crew to achieve daily goals efficiently.

Qualifications

  • One year of professional experience in landscaping with proficiency in driving and maintaining box trucks and operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
  • Ability to perform various landscaping tasks with a focus on quality and detail.
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  Pass cursory background check.
  • Spanish fluency is a major plus! Bilingualism (Spanish/English) is highly preferred.
